About Us

Cree Moore is a writer from Harriman, TN. She has a Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. After experiencing such a tragic loss of her son and enduring a miscarriage, she embarked upon the need for support in the pregnancy and infant loss community and began a career in writing. Cree currently works in the Neuro Critical Care Unit at a local hospital as a Nurse Practitioner. She counsels families daily on difficult medical decisions that may end in loss. Cree makes a splash as a new author by detailing her extensive experience in loss through writing. Her background makes an effective setup for her debut journal about Pregnancy and Infant Loss. You can connect with Cree at livingwounded on Instagram.

Our Mission

Pregnancy and Infant loss are on the rise in the United States and many women are still suffering in silence. In response to the lack of support and guidance in this community, Cree founded Living Wounded.  Living Wounded is the process of learning to adapt to your new life in the midst of a wound in your heart.  Whether you have had an early miscarriage, fetal miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant death you have experienced a loss that will forever change you.

Living Wounded is dedicated to shedding light on this often-overlooked journey that we as mothers endure. Our mission is to increase public awareness regarding the increase in families affected by pregnancy and infant loss and providing them with appropriate evidenced based support to achieve healing.
